Job Type: Full-time/Casual Call-In Staff
Salary: $17/hour
Hours: 3 – 35 hours/week
Start Date: Sept 2026 ending June 2027
Training: Paid onboarding including hands-on kitchen training, food safety, First Aid, and OHS.

The School Lunch Association (SLA) is looking for reliable, enthusiastic team members to help prepare and serve healthy meals to students in our school lunch programs.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, package, and serve nutritious meals
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas
• Receive and organize food and supplies
• Assist with inventory and ordering
• Work as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced school environment

What We’re Looking For

• Impeccable reliability, committed, organized with a positive attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow food safety and workplace procedures
• Experience in food service, cleaning, or customer service is an asset—but not required. Training is provided.
