This November 2025 – Moose

Huge thank you to Chef Roger Andrews, Culinary Management Instructor at the College of the North Atlantic, for helping us butcher the not-for-profit moose recently received by the School Lunch Association.

This was a fantastic learning opportunity for his students, and it helped us get this amazing local protein onto the menu for the children we serve.

We also want to give a big shout-out to Kennith Griffiths, the hunter who harvested the animal and who also happens to be a custodian at one of the schools we support.

This is what community looks like, people coming together to make sure kids are well fed. ❤️
